For you to put on extra weight it didn’t take a book on the latest diet, or a plan that involved restricting certain types of foods or macros.
All it took for you to put on the extra weight was you had to eat more.
So if putting weight on was caused by eating more… it makes sense that to take off the weight you need to eat less. I’m not a big fan of recommending anything other than calorie restriction up until 15-17% body fat for men and 30% body fat for women.
You’ll need many tools to keep your body guessing once you get down close to single digit body fat.
Try not to use tricks like carb cycling or really low carbs until you really need them – and you will need them. Just later..
